"AR-GEN-TINA"

ARGENTINA vs. COLUMBIA: On the way to the stadium, there were riot cops posted up everywhere with shields and masks and horses. Are we going into war against Columbia and I didnt get the memo? Nah, probably not, just the usually soccer security. It was so chilly outside too.  The stadium is like a sea of baby blue and white (Argentinas colors). I love it! So much team spirit all around! I think I love the crowd more than watching the game. The fans cheer with their hearts :)
When the players came out, everyone threw strips of paper-  they  bring bags of it- its like "glitter" falling  to the field. All the fan clubs proudly  have their painted banners out. Although the Columbians were only given a small portion of the stadium, their festive-ness was pretty impressive, I must say. Never stopped jumping, never stopped cheering or waving their flags and lighting fireworks. Their blue yellow and red brightly stood out in the sea of baby blue and white.  I secretely kinda wanted to be on that side for a little bit.

Final score: 1-0 Argentina. Woo!
